About Recovery in Motion

Mission Statement

At Recovery in Motion, our mission is to redefine the landscape of substance use disorder treatment by integrating evidence-based practices with the transformative power of peer support. We are dedicated to creating a healing environment where individuals not only receive professional care but also benefit from the strength and understanding that comes from shared experiences.

Our commitment is to inspire and facilitate lasting recovery through a collaborative approach that recognizes the invaluable role of peer support in the journey to wellness. We strive to empower individuals to overcome the challenges of substance use by fostering a community where mutual encouragement, empathy, and shared resilience become powerful catalysts for change.

We are dedicated to providing a platform for individuals to connect, learn, and grow together. We aim to break down the stigma surrounding substance use disorders, promoting a culture of acceptance and understanding that recognizes each person's unique path to recovery.

At Recovery in Motion, we envision a future where everyone affected by substance use disorders has access to not only evidence-based treatment but also the transformative power of peer support. Through this integrated approach, we aspire to break the chains of addiction, reduce stigma, and cultivate a future where the light of recovery shines brightly for all.

Values

Compassion: Demonstrating empathy and understanding towards individuals struggling with substance use disorders, recognizing their inherent worth and potential for recovery.

Collaboration: Emphasizing the importance of collaborative efforts among professionals, peers, and the broader community to create a supportive network for recovery.

Empowerment: Fostering a sense of agency and self-efficacy in individuals, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery journey.

Respect: Treating all individuals with dignity, respect, and cultural sensitivity, acknowledging the uniqueness of each person's journey.

Advocacy: We advocate for systemic change, working to reduce stigma associated with substance use disorders and promote policies that support accessible and equitable treatment for all individuals. We strive to be a voice for those who may be marginalized or underserved in their journey to recovery.

Community: Building a sense of community and belonging, both within the treatment center and in the broader community, to counteract the isolation often associated with addiction.

Client Reviews

Would highly suggest this program, staff, and facility to others wanting to make a new way of life. Thank you for helping in molding a new [person] and a higher quality of life and future.

The staff has been incredibly helpful and kind to me. Every concern I've had has been addressed and handled. The staff is five star. Highly recommend!

Place is awesome, best treatment I've ever been too. Very kind helpful and accommodating. I strongly recommend this place to anyone! 5 star

They also provided me with my own personal prayer rug. The food here is 5 star.

My stay @ RIM has been a blessing in every area and granted me the space to search my thoughts and control my actions. I grew up in so many different cuz it gave me time to identify my thinking errors and either learn or hide my feelings and I choose to change my stinking thinking and RIM staff and directors are all caring wonderful and very respectful at all times.

This program is a one of a kind. The staff here have the knowledge, expertise and first hand experience in the field. Recovery In Motion cares for the well-being of their clients. Thanks for your services!!

This treatment place feels like home and it's a well respected place to be when you need help with addiction and now I'm doing better then I have ever in my life.  I would recommend this place to anyone who needed help in their addiction.

I know and believe in my heart and soul that this treatment spot called Recovery In Motion is the best one in Minnesota or nationwide!
