About Recovery in Motion

Mission Statement

At Recovery in Motion, our mission is to redefine the landscape of substance use disorder treatment by integrating evidence-based practices with the transformative power of peer support. We are dedicated to creating a healing environment where individuals not only receive professional care but also benefit from the strength and understanding that comes from shared experiences.

Our commitment is to inspire and facilitate lasting recovery through a collaborative approach that recognizes the invaluable role of peer support in the journey to wellness. We strive to empower individuals to overcome the challenges of substance use by fostering a community where mutual encouragement, empathy, and shared resilience become powerful catalysts for change.

We are dedicated to providing a platform for individuals to connect, learn, and grow together. We aim to break down the stigma surrounding substance use disorders, promoting a culture of acceptance and understanding that recognizes each person's unique path to recovery.

At Recovery in Motion, we envision a future where everyone affected by substance use disorders has access to not only evidence-based treatment but also the transformative power of peer support. Through this integrated approach, we aspire to break the chains of addiction, reduce stigma, and cultivate a future where the light of recovery shines brightly for all.

Values

Compassion: Demonstrating empathy and understanding towards individuals struggling with substance use disorders, recognizing their inherent worth and potential for recovery.

Integrity: We uphold the highest standards of honesty and transparency in all aspects of our work. We believe that trust is foundational to the healing process and strive to maintain the integrity of our programs, services, and relationships.

Collaboration: Emphasizing the importance of collaborative efforts among professionals, peers, and the broader community to create a supportive network for recovery.

Empowerment: Fostering a sense of agency and self-efficacy in individuals, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery journey.

Respect: Treating all individuals with dignity, respect, and cultural sensitivity, acknowledging the uniqueness of each person's journey.

Advocacy: We advocate for systemic change, working to reduce stigma associated with substance use disorders and promote policies that support accessible and equitable treatment for all individuals. We strive to be a voice for those who may be marginalized or underserved in their journey to recovery.

Community: Building a sense of community and belonging, both within the treatment center and in the broader community, to counteract the isolation often associated with addiction.

Hope: Instilling a sense of hope in individuals by highlighting the possibilities of recovery and the positive impact of peer support.
