What should I bring with me to residential treatment?

Below you will find a list of what you should bring with you for residential treatment, as well as some things you should leave at home.

What to Bring to Treatment

How much does treatment cost?

The cost of treatment services depends on what services you receive.

We are contracted, or in the process of contracting, with most insurance plans. We are currently able to accept Hennepin Health, BCBS MN, UCare, PrimeWest Health, South Country Health Alliance, and MN Medical Assistance.

Our list of accepted insurance plans changes frequently, so if you do not see your insurance plan listed, please contact us!

Can I have my cell phone and/or other electronic devices?

You are welcome to bring your cell phone and/or other electronic devices with you; however, they will be stored during your stay and you will not be able to access them. Having access to these devices can have a detrimental impact on your treatment and recovery.

How long is the program?

Our residential program is designed to be a 60-day, or 8-week, program.

Our outpatient program consists of three phases, typically lasting 20 weeks total.

The actual length of stay does vary from person to person and is dependent on the needs and goals for each individual.

Can I have visitors?

Absolutely! We recognize addiction as a family disease and understand the importance of family involvement or other supports while an individual is in treatment.

We allow visitors at our residential program on:

Wednesdays 6:00pm-9:30 pm

Sundays 12:30pm-5:00pm

Are outside passes allowed?

Outside passes are not typically part of our treatment program; however, you will have the opportunity to go to Walmart once weekly with staff and will attend community-based support group meetings.

Is smoking allowed?

We do allow tobacco products - outside, of course! Disposable vapes, unopened at the time of admission, are also allowed.
